Best Friends Animal Sanctuary

Today we woke up pretty early so we could enter the raffle to go to the WAVE a very beautiful rock formation.  Only 20 people are allowed to go to it a day to preserve it.  Good news! we won one ticket to the wave so my dad is going to go.   Then we drove to Best Friends, the largest no-kill sanctuary in the country.  We took the free tour of the complex and got to see about 40 dogs and cats in just a few buildings.  The progress they have made towards a no-kill country is amazing.  In 30 years they reduced the number of pets being killed a year from 17 million to 4 million.  (pictures will be added later).
