Trish had painted this cork board black some time ago for use as a display board for the kids’ Junior Ranger badges. I took M’s badges and got to work, but only 180 of his 322 badges and patches fit on the board:

Looks great! I’ve been trying to figure out a good way to display my kids’ badges. So this is just a corkboard spraypainted black? How do the badges attach to it? Thanks
Yes, that’s how it’s made. The badges have pins on the back, so I just pushed the pins into the corkboard.
Thank you!
That’s an awesome collection! Most of the ones we have are not the push pin type but have the bar on the back with the pin that’s designed to go in amd out through cloth to attach. How do you secure that to the cork board? Also any particular type of paint you used on the cork board? Thanks a lot!
Our badges are the bar type as well, I pushed the badges in at an angle. We used black spray paint, nothing fancy.
