Happy Day 900!  Today, after homeschool, I went for a bike ride to the next town north, Salton Sea Beach.  The blocks closest to the shore are mostly ruins thanks to the Salton Sea floods of the 1970s:

I showed him how to do a forward launch, and after he brought the wing up, I pushed him from behind and he was flying down the beach about 3 feet above the ground:
