Summer 2018, Day 12: Palo Duro Canyon

The homemade cowling on my WiFi antenna has encountered one too many low-hanging branches, so I went into Walmart to buy a replacement:

We also tore the roof membrane on our RV when upgrading our tires yesterday:

We visited Palo Duro Canyon State Park outside of Canyon, Texas:

We drove the truck down into the canyon.  At 10am, it was already over 100 degrees:

Continuing west in 100+ degree temperatures, we blew a tire:

The blow-out tore the Coroplast bottom of the RV.  I stitched up the bottom of the RV with nylon cable ties:

We continued west to our overnight location, Paramotor City outside of Albuquerque, New Mexico.  See the alternating yellow line on the trip map for today’s drive.
