We drove in to Ocean City and walked the boardwalk.  It’s still cold:

Next we visited the town of Berlin, known for its many antique shops:

The H family came out to visit us from New York City and see the RV.  They quickly learned why leaving vehicle doors open is a mistake on Assateague Island:

I was kiting my PPG wing when they drove up:

I went roller skating in the late afternoon:

We played boggle tonight:

We had a wonderful Passover at Ahavat Shalom in Ocean City, Maryland.  Our family seders were great, and we joined the Rabbi and his family for a couple meals as well.

This morning we had another great breakfast:

We left the shul and drove a few miles south to Assateague Island National Seashore. We’ve been here before, but it’s always exciting to return again:

The Park’s famous wild ponies welcomed us:

It was chilly and gloomy, but at least it wasn’t snowing:

We’re repositioning today, but before leaving Cape Henlopen State Park we visited the Park’s annual kite festival:

We drove south along the coast to Ocean City, Maryland, where we will be spending the first days of Passover parked at Ahavat Shalom.  When we arrived, matzas were being made:

Trish and B and I drove over to the visitor center and participated in the squid dissection class:

We all went out to the beach:

I was unable to get permission to fly my PPG from the beach, so I settled for kiting the wing:

We drove into Lewes and walked the town:

We walked over to the Ryves Holt House, a unit of First State National Historical Park.  Built in 1665, it’s the oldest house in Delaware:

Towards sunset, I went skating again:

Our water pump stopped working.  Turns out that road vibration had caused the case screws to fall out.  I reassembled the pump:

I roller skated around the park:

Later in the afternoon I went for a bike ride.  Much of the ride was on gravel paths so I swapped in the off-road wheels:
