Historically, we’ve either spent Passover at home or in the RV. This year, we rented a beach house in Sandbridge, Virginia, along with a few hundred other Jewish families.

The visitor center was very well done. Harriet Tubman was an amazing woman!
I continued to Philadelphia, where I did a drive-by on two closed NPS sites, Thaddeus Kosciuszko National Memorial and Edgar Allan Poe National Historic Site:
After a nice weeklong family reunion and Shabbos in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, I continued east into Wisconsin:

I continued east into Illinois, fighting my way through Chicago traffic:
I drove to a Chicago suburb to visit Pullman National Monument:
The Monument preserves America’s first planned industrial community, built in the 1880s to support production of Pullman sleeping cars. I checked out the visitor center:
I then walked the community. The houses are now privately owned:
I continued east into Indiana to roller skate at Sk8 World in Portage:
I continued on to Elkhart Indiana to overnight at a field where a PPG pilot will meet me for a morning flight. See the trip map for today’s drive.
After a nice Shabbos in Taylor Park, I said goodbye to Clay and drove East over Cottonwood Pass:
After checking out the town of Buena Vista, I drove northeast through South Park and down out of the mountains into Denver, where I went roller skating:
I continued on to the Pawnee Buttes, where I got in Flight 136. It was short, since I had to land before sunset:
