Today after homeschool we went for a drive looking at houses for sale in the area in case we decide to settle here. In the afternoon I went for a ride to check out the local PPG field:
It’s a beautiful time of year in the countryside around Baltimore:
Today was a recovery day from our frenetic outings in the Washington DC area over the past few days. In addition to Junior Ranger badges, we also collect imprints from stamps that are at the desk of visitor centers at NPS sites. We probably have over 500 imprints, and the NPS “passport” book we have is full, so Trish and B cut out the imprints and pasted them into a larger diary-style book:
Today we hitched up and said goodbye to the Kemp Mill Synagogue. Thanks for hosting us!
We stopped at a rest area on the interstate to dump our sewer tanks, then stopped at a Walmart to buy a new tub to fabricate a new WiFi Antenna Cowling. The tubs aren’t designed for outside use, so I think the UV makes them brittle and eventually they disintegrate. I think this is the fourth tub I’ve purchased for this purchase. Thankfully, Walmarts all carry the same tubs, so it’s easy to buy the same tub as the last one and copy the cuts I have to make onto the new tub.
While still in Kemp Mill, B polished our kiddush cup:
We will be spending the next few days visiting friends in the Baltimore area.

This morning, B finished up a scarf she’s been knitting:
We hitched up the RV and pulled it forward, which allowed me to do some last minute removal of a dead branch:
You can tell it needed to come down when it breaks apart like this when hitting the ground:
After dumping our sewer tanks, we rolled down the driveway. After almost four weeks, it’s great to get back out on the road:
We drove southwest to overnight at the Lower Merion Synagogue in a suburb of Philadelphia. Tonight, Trish worked on a rug hooking project using strips of wool instead of yarn:
