Yesterday we continued our new tradition of homeschooling and finishing up todo items at the house.
In the afternoon, we visited our friends’ new house, tucked away in a surprisingly isolated corner of town. Part of their property has a small clearing with this sundial:

We had a nice Shabbos here in Monsey, sharing meals with friends.
Today I attended the upsherin of our friends’ son, mazel tov!

Today we did more homeschooling and work around the property. Summer is definitely over:

We had another day of homeschooling and home repairs today. We’re hoping to head out in the middle of next week.

Today was another homeschool day here in the driveway while finishing up odds and ends for our tenants.

This afternoon, M and I attempted to repair his motorcycle’s throttle handle:

Unfortunately, it looks like we need some parts, so the repair will have to wait.

Shemini Atzeres and Simchas Torah were wonderful here in Monsey. We had the pleasure of sharing meals with old friends and with new friends as well!

Today was a home school day. In the afternoon, I rode my bike to the local Dodge dealership to recover put truck, it having been serviced for four recall items. I took the long way there, getting in two climbs on South Mountain, a climb up Hook Mountain, and a climb up Christian Herald road:
