This morning Trish made “waffles” by frying Passover sponge cake in egg. Try not to think about it too much:

Today’s Chol Hamoed project was learning about rocketry and building model rockets:

Before dinner, the kids and I went for a bike ride on the lake. B flipped over an abandoned motorcycle component and found a camel spider. It was a little over an inch long:

After almost two weeks in Las Vegas, we’re really enjoying our new back yard:

After a nice Shabbos and first two days of Pesach, today we left my parents’ synagogue parking lot (which, compared to last week’s RV park, was palatial) and drove south to park the RV at Jean Lake. Before we made the drive, Trish made pancakes from almond flour:

The kids had a great day riding their bikes wherever they pleased, as we’re the only RV out here right now:

It’s quite windy, with more wind forecast for tomorrow, but we do have solitude:

Today we gladly left the RV ghetto park and repositioned to my parents’ synagogue where we will be parked for the first two days of Passover. Trish finished replacing the fabric on the chairs:

She also finished up the holiday cooking:

I managed to get in a bike ride this afternoon:
Good Shabbos and happy Passover! The blog will return on Monday.

After shul, I went over to my parents’ house where I applied stain to the door I installed between the living room and the bathroom so it will more closely match the other doors:

Trish took a break from Pesach prep to make some beaded cabochons:

After nightfall, we did bedikas chometz:

The RV is clean and ready to go:
