Good Shabbos from Minneapolis!
My brother’s driveway is so steep that in order to get level, I drove up onto blocks, then detached the back of the truck camper from the truck and jacked it up:

On my way to spend some time with my Parents and my Brother and his family in Minneapolis, I drove by the house where Gary Gygax developed the role-playing game Dungeons and Dragons in the 1970s. The home is a museum today:

Continuing on, I stopped in Madison to say hello to Tricia’s sister, then continued on to my brother’s house where I’ll be for a few days.
See the trip map for today’s drive.
I hit the road at 9AM:

I’m sad that I’m traveling alone this summer:

I decided to just keep going. I drove for 16 hours, traversing New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois and into Wisconsin. I overnighted at the Cracker Barrel in Kenosha:

The front driver truck camper tie down pulled out when I applied tension to it. To fix the problem, I first removed the broken water heater:

The wood into which the tie down was mounted is in bad shape:

I reinforced the wooden frame and installed a new tie down, then used the water heater cover to seal the hole where the water heater used to be:

Looks good:
