Another beautiful mornings in Crested Butte:
I trailered my mountain bike into town:
I rode Western, Meander, and Snodgrass:
After a longish climb to the top of Mount Crested Butte, I was looking forward to the descent:

At the end of my ride, I checked out another dispersed camping location that, unlike my current location, has cell service. After motorcycling back to the RV, I packed up and moved to this new location.
Good morning from Crested Butte:
I rode Teocalli Ridge. It was a difficult and lengthy climb followed by a technical and difficult descent. The views from the top were great despite the wildfire haze:
The descent didn’t always go so well:
Following Shabbos and Tisha B’Av, I packed up at Hartman Rocks and came down into Gunnison where I replaced the truck’s front passenger brake pads:
After dumping, filling, and buying groceries, I headed north to the town of Crested Butte:
After setting up in my dispersed camping spot, I toured the area on my motorcycle:
Crested Butte is one of the birthplaces of mountain biking, and has some of the most well-known trails in the world. I’m looking forward to seeing what Crested Butte has to offer!
