Another great morning flight:

I then picked up Trish at the Moab airport, she will be visiting me for a few days:

Good Shabbos from near Moab, Utah!

Another flight:

Then a mountain bike ride. So hot:

I’m running low on water, so I transferred water from my truck’s water bladder (built in to the floor I built for the backseat area) to the truck camper:

Had a nice flight at my dispersed camping location near Moab:

Toys in the shade:

I rode Moab’s Navajo Trails loop:

Bike clothing laundry time:

Sunset in my dispersed camping location was amazing!

As I mentioned yesterday, I took the truck camper off the truck. I did this so I could drive my mountain bike to the various trailheads without rattling the RV to pieces:

Adjacent to the abandoned Missile base where I overnighted is the Athena mountain bike trail, which I rode this morning:

Next, I drove over to the portion of the base where the missile launches occurred (the gates were open!):

I then headed east to the Moab area. I made the mistake of riding a portion of the Klondike Bluffs trail network in the afternoon sun, and abandoned the ride as I felt heat stroke(?) coming on:

I’m overnighting near Canyonlands National Park, where I’ll be parked for a number of days.
View of what I hope will be my PPG launch field:

For the first time, I’ve decoupled the truck from the truck camper in the middle of a trip:

I’m currently sitting in the truck (my lightning shelter) until it’s safe to go back into the RV.
See the trip map for today’s drive.
