It now looks certain that we will be buying a Dodge Ram 3500 Diesel Crew Cab Long Bed (whew!).  The Dodge has the highest tow rating, seems to handle the best when unloaded, and has the best gauge set for reporting transmission temperature, etc.

I’m still cloistered in the new truck research area of the RV.  Today, Trish and the kids did an art class on Georges Seurat and Pointillism:

We’re narrowing down our truck choices, and hope to find one in the next couple of days.

After doing a bit more research, we’ve decided to upgrade to the Keystone Avalanche 360RB.  Now that that decision has been made, we know exactly what we need in terms of a tow vehicle, so we hope to find and purchase our new truck this coming week.  Staying in town has been necessary so we can do test drives, etc., but we are very much looking forward to getting back out on the road.
